Conference: Great Britain and Ireland
The International Observatory on Language Rights is proud to be holding the conference entitled "Language Rights in Great Britain and Ireland: the Irish, Scottish, and Wales' experiences"which will take place on October 9th 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Law Faculty of the Université de Moncton.

Our guests for the Conference will be Colin Williams, Cardiff University, Wales, Peadar Ó Flatharta, Dublin City University, Ireland and Rob Dunbar, University of Edinburgh, Scotland. For finishing words, Michel Bastarache, of Heenan Blaikie Law Firm, will draw parallels between these situations and the one in New Brunswick and in Canada.

This conference will show us the particular circumstances in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland, which is not as homogeneous as one could think.
